Ginza Ichiban Japanese Restaurant is located at 100–785 Rita Rd., Quesnel, BC V2J 0C2. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Sushi Chef. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Sushi Chef
Wage: CAD$35.00/hour
Types: Fulltime, Permanent
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of foods
• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi foods such as sushi, sashimi, and special dishes
• Create new recipes and plan menus
• Supervise activities of cooks and staff
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment
• Monitor and requisition food and supplies
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required.
• Cook certificate an asset
