Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Pathologist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in translational research and will be able to contribute to our ongoing efforts to develop new diagnostic tests, treatments, and cures for diseases.
Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and consultative services to surgeons and other healthcare providers
Perform gross and microscopic examinations of tissue specimens
Prepare and interpret diagnostic reports
Provide educational and research opportunities for students and residents
Participate in translational research projects
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Meet all regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Medical Degree
Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Eligible for NYS licensure
Fellowship trained in Surgical Pathology, including breast, head, neck, or lung pathology
Demonstrated scholarly contributions, research, and teaching experience
