Supply Chain Supervisor (NOC 12013)

Location: Toronto, ON M6A 1Y7
Work location: On site
Salary: $36.00 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5× regular wage after 44 hours per week (Ontario ESA)
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule: Day, some weekends

Main Duties

Supervise, assign, and review the work of warehouse staff involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing goods
Co-ordinate daily workflow for order fulfillment and inventory movement
Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies
Resolve operational issues related to shipments, inventory, or workflow delays
Train staff on procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation
Support performance monitoring and productivity tracking
Prepare operational and inventory reports
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials
May perform warehouse duties such as receiving, order picking, or forklift operation when required

Supervision

10–25 employees

Education
College diploma or equivalent practical experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

Work setting
Automotive parts distribution warehouse

Technical Skills
Experience using common warehouse and business systems, such as:
Microsoft Excel or similar tools
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Inventory tracking systems
Experience with ERP or advanced warehouse software is an asset
