Hourly Wage: $58.00/hr, 35 hours per week
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the overseas purchasing and importing logistics processes related to our inventory of flower pots. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing international suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods to our Canadian facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end overseas purchasing operations for flower pots
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers
Coordinate logistics, customs clearance, transportation and quality control on imported goods
Develop and maintain supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for greenhouse operations
Collaborate with internal departments including greenhouse operations, finance, and procurement
Collect and analyze customer feedbacks on new flower pots and trays products
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and trade agreements
Resolve issues related to delays, damaged goods, or supply disruptions
Compensation:
Hourly Wage: $58.00 CAD

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/purchasing Management, Business, Logistics, International trad or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in international purchaing management or logistics trades
Proven experience in overseas purchasing, preferably in the horticultural or agricultural sector
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping documentation, and freight forwarding
Proficiency with supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/purchasing Management, Business, Logistics, International trad or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in international purchaing management or logistics trades
Proven experience in overseas purchasing, preferably in the horticultural or agricultural sector
