Job Description:
Get paid to help build better AI.

Alpheva AI (www.Alpheva.ai), the Silicon Valley company that is building intelligence behind frontier AI, is looking for experienced supply chain professionals to participate in paid, project-based work that helps train and evaluate the next generation of AI systems.

You work remotely and asynchronously on projects that fit around your existing schedule.

Your supply chain expertise becomes the signal that helps AI systems learn what accurate, efficient, and professionally sound supply chain work actually looks like.

What you'll do

Depending on the project, you may:

Analyze: Review supply chain scenarios, procurement data, inventory levels, logistics plans, demand forecasts, and operational information.
Evaluate: Review AI-generated supply chain analysis, recommendations, forecasts, calculations, and conclusions.
Validate: Determine whether AI-generated supply chain outputs are accurate, logically sound, practical, and consistent with established supply chain principles.
Review: Assess procurement strategies, inventory plans, supplier decisions, transportation plans, demand forecasts, and supply chain processes.
Reason: Solve realistic supply chain problems and explain how an experienced supply chain professional would approach them.
Compare solutions: Assess multiple AI-generated supply chain solutions and identify meaningful differences in accuracy, reasoning, efficiency, risk management, and professional judgment.
Create evaluations: Develop challenging supply chain tasks and criteria for measuring AI systems.
Provide expert judgment: Identify errors, inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, operational risks, and impractical recommendations in AI-generated work.
Projects may involve procurement, sourcing, inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier management, operations planning, supply chain analytics, forecasting, distribution, and other areas depending on your expertise.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for experienced supply chain professionals, not necessarily AI researchers.

You should have:

3+ years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, operations, planning, sourcing, or a related field
Strong supply chain and analytical reasoning skills
Experience working with real-world supply chain data, operations, or business processes
Ability to evaluate supply chain analysis and recommendations critically
Strong attention to detail
Ability to identify supply chain errors, inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and unsupported assumptions
Strong professional judgment
Ability to clearly explain why a supply chain strategy, recommendation, or conclusion is correct or incorrect
Experience with any of the following is valuable:
Procurement and strategic sourcing
Inventory management
Demand planning and forecasting
Supply planning
Logistics and transportation
Warehouse and distribution operations
Supplier management
Supply chain analytics
Operations planning
Production planning
Risk management and supply chain resilience
Supply chain systems, ERP, or planning software
Relevant degree, certification, or professional qualification
You do not need prior experience working in AI.
What matters most is that you know how to do supply chain work well.

You might be asked to:

Review an AI-generated supply chain analysis and identify the issues.

Evaluate whether a demand forecast or inventory recommendation is reasonable.

Assess whether a procurement or sourcing strategy is appropriate.

Review an AI-generated logistics or transportation plan.

Compare two AI-generated supply chain solutions and determine which is stronger.

Evaluate an AI-generated supplier selection or procurement recommendation.

Analyze a realistic supply chain scenario and explain your reasoning.

Identify supply chain errors, inefficiencies, inconsistencies, or unsupported conclusions.

Assess whether an AI-generated recommendation appropriately considers cost, service levels, lead times, capacity, demand variability, supplier risk, and operational constraints.

Create challenging supply chain problems that can be used to evaluate AI systems.

The goal is not simply to determine whether supply chain work looks reasonable.

The goal is to capture the judgment an experienced supply chain professional uses to determine whether supply chain work actually makes operational and business sense.

Compensation

Paid project-based work.

Rates vary based on your experience, specialization, and project requirements. Your applicable rate and project scope will be shown before you commit to a project.

Some projects are short assignments. Others may involve recurring work over a longer period.

There is no fixed schedule and no minimum commitment.

Work arrangement

Remote
Asynchronous
Project-based
Flexible hours
Work around your existing job or commitments
Paid for qualifying project work
But producing a plausible-looking supply chain answer is not the same as demonstrating strong supply chain judgment.

AI needs to learn how experienced supply chain professionals:

Analyze supply chain information
Evaluate demand and supply conditions
Assess inventory requirements
Evaluate procurement and sourcing decisions
Analyze logistics and transportation options
Assess supplier performance and risk
Evaluate costs, lead times, and service levels
Identify operational constraints and inefficiencies
Recognize important supply chain edge cases
Compare alternative supply chain strategies
Evaluate assumptions and supporting evidence
Assess operational and business risks
Explain supply chain conclusions clearly
Determine when supply chain analysis is actually reliable
That's where you come in.

Your supply chain expertise helps shape how AI learns to reason about supply chain and operations.

How it works

Apply
Tell us about your supply chain background, experience, qualifications, and areas of expertise.

Get qualified
Complete a short assessment designed around the type of supply chain work you'll perform.

Get matched
