Startech windows are looking for a Glazing Supervisor.
Languages English
Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; or Equivalent experience
Experience 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
Work Site Environment
Outdoors
Work must be completed at the physical work location; there is no option to work remotely.
Work at various locations.
Responsibilities
The Supervisor, Glazing will be responsible for supervising and coordinating glazing workers and projects. Duties include:
Supervise workers and glazing projects.
Coordinate and schedule work activities.
Lead and instruct workers in the performance of their duties.
Set up machines and equipment required for glazing work.
Ensure that health and safety regulations and procedures are followed.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate daily work activities to support the timely completion of projects.
Monitor work performed by employees and provide direction as required.
Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and quality standards.
Assist in organizing equipment, materials and resources required at job sites.
May also perform the same glazing duties as the workers being supervised, as required
Transportation / Travel Information
Valid driver's licence required.
Must be able to travel to various work locations.
Employment Conditions
The successful candidate must be able to work on site and outdoors and be available for early morning, morning and daytime shifts.
