Job Description:
BEAUFORT PIZZA AND PASTA LTD. is looking for 1 Food service supervisor at 1483 BOWEN ROAD, Nanaimo, BC, V9S 1G4. Salary is 17.50 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply).
Job Description:
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and serve food.
Order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required. At least one or two years experience in food preparation or service are required or completion of college program in food service administration, restaurant business or related business.
