About the Role

Student Success Foundation is seeking a compassionate, organized, and reliable Student Support Assistant to help college students navigate challenges that may affect their ability to remain enrolled and succeed.

In this role, you will communicate with students, provide basic resource guidance, coordinate assistance requests, and help students navigate financial-aid, scholarship, academic, and other support resources.

Responsibilities

* Respond to student questions and support requests.
* Provide clear, respectful guidance and identify appropriate resources.
* Assist with emergency assistance and resource coordination.
* Provide basic guidance on financial-aid and scholarship-related processes.
* Maintain accurate student records and follow-up notes.
* Follow up with students regarding outstanding requests or next steps.
* Protect confidential student information.
* Work collaboratively with the remote support team.

Qualifications

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
* Basic computer and online communication skills.
* Professional, patient, and compassionate approach.
* Experience in student services, customer support, administration, education, or nonprofit work is a plus.
