Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Position Available: 1
Hourly Wage: $26.00 to $31.00
Weekly Hours: 35 to 40
Location of Work: Winnipeg, MB

Duties and Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of store staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
-Assign duties to employees and monitor their performance to maintain productivity and service standards.
-Ensure shelves, displays, and product areas are properly stocked, organized, and presented in an attractive manner.
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management regarding product shortages, ordering needs, and stock replenishment.
-Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and resolving complaints or service issues in a timely and professional manner.
-Train new staff on store procedures, customer service expectations, workplace safety, and operational standards.
-Assist in implementing store policies, promotions, and merchandising plans to support sales objectives.
-Supervise cash handling procedures, including checkout operations, balancing tills, and ensuring accuracy in transactions.
-Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall store appearance in compliance with company standards and health and safety requirements.
-Report operational issues, staffing concerns, and customer feedback to management and support the overall efficient operation of the supermarket.
Qualifications
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or related role is highly preferred.
-Strong knowledge of customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and daily store operations.
-Ability to supervise staff, assign duties, and support training in a fast-paced retail environment.
-Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and support a positive shopping experience.
-Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
