Store Supervisor Job

JOB SUMMARY
The Store Supervisor is responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting daily sales operations, while coordinating inventory activities such as ordering, receiving, and merchandising stock.

JOB DUTIES
Performs store opening and closing procedures. (Essential)
Ensures merchandise is neatly organized, attractively displayed, and adequately stocked. (Essential)
Coordinates merchandise ordering, verifies vendor deliveries, and stocks inventory as needed, while fostering positive relationships with vendors. (Essential)
Operates the cash register to process cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy when handling transactions and providing change. (Essential)
Ensures the store is clean and well maintained. (Essential)
Conducts routine inspections of store facilities and equipment to maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational functionality. (Essential)
Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
Provides friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering phone calls, and completing sales transactions.
Welcomes and registers overnight campers, manages reservations, and issues passes to registered guests.
Reports and communicates guest concerns and operational issues, as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
1 year in retail supervisory experience (Preferred)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic computer proficiency with the ability to use email, internet resources, and standard digital tools for daily tasks
Demonstrated leadership ability
Must have a valid driver's license
