Store Supervisor Job

Westlynn Bakery is seeking a Store Supervisor for our North Vancouver location.

Permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $24.25 per hour.

Standard 8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 5:30pm as required.

Duties:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule day-to-day production activities;
• Draw up production schedules;
• Handle daily operations of the bakery department, including budgeting;
• Prepare production and other reports;
• Train workers to perform and follow job duties, safety procedures and company policies;
• Maintain records of stock, sales, wastage and resolve customer issues;
• Operate cash register;
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods;
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.

Requirements:
• Secondary school completion required;
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a bakery store or a related area is required;
• Prior experience in hospitality industry is an asset;
• English language ability is required;
• Must be willing to work on the weekend.
