Description: The position supports the successful operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction at all times.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the overall operations of the retail fuel station and convenience store.
• Manage employees, delegate responsibilities, and ensure tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and local competition to forecast sales and adjust strategies.
• Decide on product offerings and services, and establish appropriate pricing and credit practices.
• Identify suppliers, place orders, and negotiate pricing or terms to maintain inventory and control costs.
• Create and execute promotional campaigns and in-store marketing initiatives to drive sales.
• Prepare and manage budgets, approve expenses, and track financial performance including sales and margins.
• Monitor customer service quality, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and employee retention.
• Performing the necessary tasks as the employee of a Petro-Canada branded dealer
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary education
• Minimum 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or customer service at managerial level
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including mornings, afternoons, graveyards and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7, 7 days a week.
