The Company
Moose Jaw's Past Times Antique Style Photography & Gifts provides antique-style photography, where you can select from a variety of costumes and settings from different eras including the 1920s, western and Victorian. The gift shop offers gifts galore from ceiling to floor with unique gifts, souvenirs, home decor, garden and antiques.
Duties:
• Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products or booking photography sessions
• Provide helpful and friendly advice about merchandise, gift ideas, and photography packages
• Handle sales transactions at the register using cash, debit, or credit
• Keep track of sales and restock items on shelves when needed
• Help maintain the organization and appearance of the store, ensuring displays are tidy and inviting
• Answer phone calls and customer inquiries related to both retail and photography services
• Package purchases and prepare products for customers
• Occasionally assist in arranging seasonal window displays and in-store product setups
• Support with basic inventory checks and reordering stock when necessary
• Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment for both shoppers and photography clients

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proven ability to exceed selling goals is preferred
• A good eye for display and visual details is an asset
