Bhandal Contractors (2011) Inc. is looking for a Steel Stud Framers Supervisor (NOC 72013) to join their growing team.

• Position: Steel Stud Framers Supervisor
• Work Hours: 40 hrs. per week
• Wage: $38.00
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Start date: ASAP
• Benefits: 10 vacation days per calendar year
• Work Location: Various locations across the Lower Mainland, BC and reporting directly to our office located at 2369 E 41st Ave., Vancouver, BC, V5R 2W2

Key duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare production and other reports
• Recommend measures to improve productivity
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Train or arrange for training
• Estimate costs and materials
• Recommend personnel actions
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Supervision
• 3-4 people
• Steel stud framers and Carpenters
• Trades helpers

Requirements/Education and other requirements
• Completion of secondary school required
• 3-5 years of experience in the trade are required
• Language: English mandatory
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Organized, self-disciplined, motivated and able to work independently
• Interpersonal communication skills, communicate effectively both written and orally
• A strong commitment to team culture, positive attitude
