Job Description:
Maclean Bros Drywall Ltd. is a family run-business seeking an experienced Steel Stud Carpenter to join our team in a Working Foreman capacity at our location in Maple Ridge, BC (20050 Stewart Crescent, V2X 0T4). This is a full - time position for 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.

As a Steel Stud Carpenter, you will be responsible for the following job duties:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for steel stud framing.
-Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal studs and related materials.
-Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to install steel stud framing.
-Attaching metal frames with preconfigured horizontal and vertical wallboards.
-Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
-Inspecting the quality of the procured metal stud framers if needed.
-Preparing small openings into the metal frames with drilling tools to make space for electric lines and outlets.
-Monitoring workflow, maintaining productivity targets, and ensuring work is completed on schedule.
-Maintaining a safe and organized job site in compliance with all safety regulations.
Job Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-2-4 years of previous work experience is required.
-English as a language skill is required.
What we offer:
-$37.00 per hour.
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
-Location of work: Various location in the Lower Mainland.
