Statistical Analyst Job

Statistical Analyst wanted by Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, America in Lake City, South Carolina, with Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences or Statistics and at least One (1) year of experience in analyzing statistical data. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of R, JMP, regression analysis, ANOVA, hypothesis testing, exploratory analysis, data cleaning, visualization, experimental designs, time series analysis, machine learning, statistical inference. Job duties to be performed:

• Analyze and interpret production quality data — including quality metrics, defect rates, and process parameters — to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of manufacturing variances.
• Evaluate and select appropriate statistical methods to ensure validity, accuracy, and efficiency of analytical results across production and cost analysis functions.
• Prepare and organize raw data from multiple departmental sources, performing data cleaning and validation prior to statistical analysis.
• Develop and maintain statistical reports, dashboards, heatmaps, and trend charts to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs); present findings and recommendations to management in weekly and monthly reports.
• Build automated data extraction and analysis tools using statistical and programming software to streamline statistical reporting and improve data processing efficiency.
• Apply predictive modeling and forecasting techniques to support analysis of production quality, equipment performance, and operational trends.
• Conduct variance analysis on operational cost and inventory data to detect recurring patterns and provide actionable recommendations for cost reduction.
• Perform statistical modeling to simulate production scenarios, forecast costs, and quantify the economic impact of operational decisions in a petrochemical manufacturing environment.
