Work Location: 1068 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver, BC, V7T 1Y3
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Hours of work: 30-40 hours per week
Wage: $29.50 - $37.00 per hour (including Early Childhood Educator wage enhancement of $6.00 per hour)
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 vacation fee renumeration, health benefits, financial benefits, long term benefits, other benefits

Job Duties:
• Take a lead role in planning daily activities and provide guidance to assistant educators to ensure consistent delivery of childcare programs.
• Share expertise and mentor newer staff in implementing age-appropriate teaching strategies and maintaining program quality.
• Develop and deliver educational activities that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children’s learning and well-being.
• Facilitate play-based learning through storytelling, music, arts, and interactive group activities.
• Support children in building healthy habits in nutrition, hygiene, and self-care.
• Observe and track children’s growth and behaviors, prepare progress notes, and communicate developmental needs to families or managers.
