Staff Software Engineer Job

Arris Global Services, Inc. Developing and supporting of Computer Networking products for Passive Optical Networks; Independently contributing to derivative software design and implementation with minimal technical guidance from senior engineers; Performing unit and integration testing of the product; Serving as Technical team member for the Design and Development of products; Independently resolving technical problems, initiating design changes and providing engineering support to assess customer needs and solve field issues; Generating required product development documentation including, but not limited to, Functional Specifications and detailed design documents; Participating in source code control and software release activities as required; Interfacing with other departments to enable accomplishment of division and new product development objectives; and Communicating project status, issues, and requirements both verbally and in writing. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 1 year of experience or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 3 years of experience required.
