Staff Engineer Job

1. Test and evaluate material characteristics to ensure proper function in current wash systems.
2. Assist Mechanical Design Engineers in testing prototype functionality and provide advice on design improvements and material selection.
3. Evaluate new products through stress analysis, dynamic analysis, and other engineering calculations.
4. Review feedback from customers, installers, assemblers, welders, and other personnel regarding existing equipment and systems.
5. Evaluate the manufacturing process and assess material properties to enhance performance, manufacturability, reliability, energy efficiency, ease of installation, maintenance, and cost reduction.
6. Analyze materials and participate in welding design and structure analysis to increase product durability and eliminate waste.
7. Collaborate with US and Asian suppliers, specify material designs and requirements, test samples, and evaluate material performance.
8. Review project conditions with project engineers to provide material and chemical selection suggestions.

1. A master's degree in Materials Engineering or Materials Science, from a university in the U.S. or its foreign equivalent.
2. Must be able to analyze material properties, including stiffness, strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal conductivity.
3. Must be able to use materials characterization data for in-situ monitoring and predictive modeling to support product design.
4. Must be able to use Cambridge Engineering Selector (CES) software to select materials during the product design process.
