Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our high-impact Accounting/Finance team. This remote role offers exposure to leadership, meaningful projects, and the opportunity to shape processes as the company grows.
Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements and reporting packages
• Build supporting schedules and conduct variance analysis for management reporting
• Partner with auditors and internal teams to provide documentation and financial insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business activities and financial reporting
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and corporate policies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of corporate or public accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/reporting tools (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Interest in using AI to streamline accounting processes
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Prior experience in SaaS companies is a plus
