• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and develop internal control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
- Communicate accounting concepts to clients and answer their questions regarding financial and tax matters.
- Manage CRA correspondence, requests, and audits on behalf of clients.
- Examine accounting records including journal entries, ledger entries, and other financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries, working papers, and assist with T2 corporate income tax returns and Compilation Engagement Financial Statements.
- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems and prepare financial information for individuals, departments within organizations, businesses, and other establishments.
- Examine financial accounts and records and prepare income tax returns from accounting records.
- Analyze financial statements and reports and provide financial, business, and tax advice.
Job Requirements:
• Languages: English

• Education: University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. Enrollment in or completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) professional education program (PEP) is required.

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of related experience.
