Sr. Vertex Subject Matter Expert
Revoint LLC is seeking Sr. Vertex Subject Matter Expert to be responsible for:
• Lead the analysis of indirect tax processes and ERP workflows, including Vertex O Series integration with SAP and related systems, to identify operational inefficiencies, compliance risks, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Evaluate tax determination controls across Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycles, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance accuracy, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall business performance.
• Assess and refine ERP tax configurations (e.g., tax procedures, tax codes, and Vertex Accelerator/SIC&OIC settings) to strengthen automated tax determination and ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
• Direct functional design review, testing oversight, and root-cause analysis of tax exceptions, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate operational risk and improve internal controls.
• Partner with Tax, IT, and business leadership to evaluate system performance, improve reporting reliability, and implement process enhancements that support organizational efficiency and compliance objectives.
Require
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Skills including SAP FICO, SAP tax, VERTEX Tax, Vertex O Series, and SIC architecture.
The position involves assignments at client sites located throughout the United States. Client locations vary depending on project assignments. No single, fixed worksite exists. The employee will be supervised from the employer’s headquarters in Dallas, TX.
