Job Description:
Sr. Software Engineer Position available in Monmouth Junction, NJ; Duties include • Test the application under different networks and Internet speeds including on 3G, 4G/LTE, and Wi-Fi
on both iOS and android; Create and execute database queries (SQL) to validate database data integrity; Knowledge on amazon web services (AWS) and cloud architectural patterns;
Strong experience with API testing using Postman tool and automation using rest assured; Use BDD framework by Cucumber tool with Java & create feature files with scenario and
scenario outline files; Test embedded application software on various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets; Use Data Driven Framework to check the behavior of application
with different inputs as parameters using Selenium; Perform QA Smoke, Acceptance, Regression, Function, UI, Usability and Compatibility Testing, Automated test cases, test suites for
Regression Testing via Selenium Webdriver; Involve in End-to-End testing of business rules on the Web based application; Involve in API testing both SOAP and REST services using Rest
Assured and tested both XML and JSON formats; Launch the Emulators/Simulators from the AVD manager (Android Virtual Device Manager) for Android and tested the Applications; Use
android based tools like ADB and DDMS for debugging logs and pushing/pulling files and apk's and ipa’s to devices and capturing database; Configure Maven for JAVA automation
projects and developed Maven (pom.xml) and executed tests with JENKINS; Setting Dynamic Project Description and Build Description in Jenkins, by using different available tokens which
can be used to set description for CI/CD process; Extensively use Selenium Web driver API (org.openqa.selenium.*), Junit API (org.junit.*) and TestNG API (org.testng.*,
org.testng.annotations.*) to write test cases and automate all test cases; Work closely with Technical Project Managers and Development Team in defect tracking, re-testing, and
validation; Verify bug fixes and test all impacted modules in application; Coordinate with offshore team members on QA task and provide status to project manager; Work with different
teams to resolve the testing blockers; Coordinate Onshore and Offshore testing teams to complete testing within scheduled test window • Signoff the UAT testing and give a go ahead for
the production deployments • Used TestNG framework to run unit test and Maven to build the Project; Involve in Agile Sprint model with JIRA management tool and conducted Sprint Daily
call with team members whenever required and with Agile ceremonies; Use JIRA for managing cards, creating bugs and defect tracking; Integrate automation scripts (Selenium WebDriver
API) in Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins) for nightly batch run of the Script. Holds a minimum Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any closely related
Engineering (U.S Equivalent education accepted). Extended Travel/relocation required to unanticipated client locations throughout the USA. Schedule: 9 am to 6 pm. Standard Company
