Job Description:
Sr. Sales Engineer
• Position Available in Troy, MI
Job Duties
• Plan and modify product configurations to meet the complex demands of customers and regulations.
• Provide in-depth technical support on validation testing, including mechanical, chemical, and environmental performance.
• Prepare and deliver high-level technical presentations on product performance, testing standards, and evaluation outcomes.
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess advanced material requirements and determine technical system specifications.
• Develop, present, or respond to detailed proposals for OEM and Tier 1 automotive programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to customize product specifications and resolve approval issues.
• Visit client facilities to guide spec-in procedures and explain test failures and corrective actions.
• Identify and support strategic resale opportunities with technical insight into customer applications.
• Attend industry training seminars to maintain expertise in polymer material technologies and testing equipment.
• Document evaluation results, project milestones, and client feedback to support product qualification and forecasting, etc.
