Sr. Health Educator Job

Sr. Health Educator is needed performing the following duties:

• Use clinical skills to access plan,monitor and evaluate health care service in the provider office setting participating in direct care and assessment.
• Responsible for educating how to properly documented medical services & intervention face to face member encounters,including proper coding & claims submission for services.
• Assist with scheduling appointments for health assessment and other related medical services in support of our commercial e change member who may have a gap in care
• Help with training and explaining things to new patient who start with their treatment as to how they can maintain things
• Educate patients how to maintain oral hygiene and health .
• Educate how to take supplements and other medication which is good for health
• Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPPA, OSHA, labor laws and other federal ,state and local regulations
• Provide health and wellness education. Plan and implement programs and treatments specifically designed to address the patient's needs.
• Helping with explaining the patients their insurance benefits.
• Remains current with the various Pharmaceutical databases.
• Consult with patient about cost-saving program like coupon or generic drug approach.responsible for breaking down their benefits explaining them what will be their out of pocket expenses
• Assist the provider in developing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures that reflect quality, and safe delivery of health care services and provide exceptional customer and guest relations
• Collaborates with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of treatment, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure department compliance with policies, procedures, by laws, regulatory requirements, and best practice guidelines; medications as per insurance requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree is required in Public Health or Health Education or Health Science or Medical Science
