Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver Windows and web-based software applications. This software tester position requires an experienced software quality test professional with experience in hands on product testing in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications required:

3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance on Windows and web-based applications
Previous experience working in Agile / Kanban development environment
Experience with test-case creation, execution, and reporting
Understanding of Software Quality Assurance best practices and industry standards
Excellent communicator with attention to detail
Skilled in test automation technologies such as: Selenium, Cucumber and Postman

Specific roles for the Software Test Engineer include:

Develop and execute test plans / cases
Ensure Software meets quality standards prior to release
Document defects in bug tracking system with good detail and steps to reproduce
Develop test automation for web applications

The following skills are not essential, but desirable:

Preferred certifications in Software Quality Testing
Experience with Azure Test Plans

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
