Sprinkler and fire protection installer Job

We are currently seeking a Sprinkler & Fire protection installer.

Responsibilities:
Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports
Select, measure, cut, ream and thread pipe
Instruct apprentices
Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and 􀀁re protection equipment, using hand and power tools
Service and repair sprinkler system
Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
Remove and replace worn components and reactivate the system
Select the type and size of pipe required
Test system for leaks using testing equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Sprinkler System Installer Red Seal Certificate is required
Driver's License is required
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certifcate Fall Arrest Protection Training Course is required
Willing to travel
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
5 and more years of previous experience is required
Criminal check is required
Excellent written and communication skills
