Sports Program Director Job

Bradford Rattlers Hockey is seeking a Sports Program Director. The suitable candidate has to possess strong organizational skills, a background in hockey programs, specifically designed for young hockey players. Responsibilities include: international recruiting of young players from European countries including countries of the Former USSR, communication with parents of young players and their agents, supervision of coaching staff, recruiting personnel and program coordinators, roster planning and selection for hockey development camps, financial planning of programs, searching for partners and academics, strategic business development, provision of technical and professional advice on hockey matters, organization and administration of hockey training, coaching, officiating and other programs associated with hockey sport, marketing and digital development, negotiation business contracts, managing the operations of hockey teams, negotiation and preparation of player participation agreements and coordination with coaching and training personnel. Qualifications: a university degree in physical education, experience in coaching and managing hockey programs, experience in working with youth, strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage community members effectively, excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge of safety standards related to hockey activities, ability to develop innovative programming that meets community needs, experience in program development in hockey industry. Knowledge of European hockey market and ability to communicate in Russian language is preferrable.
