Position: Specialty Foods Chef (Korean Cuisine)
Wages: CAD$35.00-37.00/hour (depending on skills & experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, and oversee the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of Korean dishes
• Prepare and cook authentic Korean BBQs and Korean foods, chef’s specials, and specialty items
• Develop and execute seasonal or special menus to attract and retain customers in collaboration with management
• Develop special house sauce and recipes to improve tastes and maintain signature flavor profiles
• Maintain precise portioning, seasoning, and presentation standards
• Ensure health regulations and food safety policies are followed
• Demonstrate new techniques and equipment
• Supervise and train kitchen staff
• Coordinate with suppliers and management to order and receive fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Arrange repair and purchase of equipment
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required.
• Korean food cooking certificate is an asset.
• Experience in authentic Korean food preparation in a commercial kitchen environment is an asset
• Skills demonstration may be required.
