Responsibilities
Operate saws and cutting machinery safely and efficiently to process materials according to specifications.
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in data collection related to material processing, logging measurements accurately for research purposes.
Support research projects by preparing samples, documenting procedures, and ensuring quality control.
Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution, including tasks involving AutoCAD, Python scripting, or GIS mapping.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment as needed.
