Job title: Sourcing Specialist (NOC 12102)
Nature: Full-time permanent
Wage: $25/hour
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Address: 55A-1 Kelsey Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 5C8

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary
Job duties
Manage existing suppliers, build and maintain relationships with current suppliers.
Utilize the organization’s purchasing power to reduce costs, find new suppliers, shorten lead times, and ensure reliable supply.
Assess risks and analyze supply market forecasts, scenarios, and other factors, facilitating quality assessments and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Participate in procurement activities to ensure cost-effective decisions.
Organize delivery schedules, oversee progress, maintain optimal stock levels, and communicate with clients and suppliers to address and resolve any issues.
Evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations, focusing on price and terms to secure the best deals.
Review and negotiate contractual agreements to obtain favorable terms for our establishment.
