Job duties
Assess requirements of glass factory and develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
Analyze supplier performance, assess quality standards for raw materials like resin, glass fibers, and other components, and identify risks to ensure consistent supply.
Prepare procurement forecasts based on production schedules and industry trends, offering insights and recommendations to optimize purchasing strategies.
Identify the organization’s buying power and implement cost-saving opportunities in purchasing materials and negotiate pricing agreements to reduce overall expenses.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to secure competitive terms, improve lead times, and ensure timely deliveries.
Review production requirements, prepare purchase orders, and invite tenders for critical materials. Assess and select suppliers based on technical and commercial evaluations.
Draft and negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring terms align with company goals for quality, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.
Plan and monitor delivery schedules, and ensure materials are available to meet production needs. Address and resolve issues by working closely with suppliers and internal teams.

Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma in business administration, manufactory or related field is preferred.
Working experience in the procurement or similar roles is preferred.
Work well in a cooperative environment.
Ability to assess data and write reports.
