Software Engineering Manager Job

Streamline Healthcare Solutions LLC seeks Software Engineering Manager. Duties: Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for multiple development teams responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and testing of our SmartCare platform; Oversee product management, and development staff on requirements, design, estimates, and acceptance testing; Plan resource allocation required to support the corporate roadmap; Plan and oversee engineering schedules and follow up with measures of performance against estimates; Recommend and implement new policies and procedures; Establish standards for tools, methods, and best practices to be used across development teams; Ensure quality software is delivered in a timely manner by the engineering and development teams; Perform personnel functions, including interviewing, training, reviewing subordinates, approving job descriptions, selecting and placing personnel, and conducting performance evaluations; Ensure the development team’s compliance with company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects; and Dedicate time to research and learn new technologies for keeping current with best practices, patterns and relevant technologies. Salary: $132,000/Year Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering management, or a related field. Requires two years of experience in the job offered or in software engineering. Requires experience with: Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Prometheus. 100% telecommuting permitted. May live anywhere in the United States.
