Software Engineer Job

Duties: Design, develop, and maintain key software components. Enhance and optimize software for rewards services, focusing on scalability, reliability and performance for users. Ensure seamless data flow across services within the order processing system. Implement algorithms to accurately calculate and distribute bonuses to customers. Maintain and support software ticket tracking services. Troubleshoot and resolve data accuracy or software service performance issues. Perform development of backend pipelines to move and transform data. Create and implement robust testing procedures to guarantee stability and security of systems, including developing automated test scripts and continuous integration pipelines.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Two (2) years of experience in software development using Java.
• Specific Skills: Requires education or experience in: Java8, 17, 21, Groovy2.4.3 and in Unix commands; Test Automation including Spock, github actions and Jenkins; AWS, Lambda, k8s, Secrets Manager, valkey, redis lock/cache, MSK/debezium connector; Smooks and Drools; SQL, PostgresSQL, PL/pgSQL and creating temporary schemas and tables, importing CSV data and implementing batch fixes; Package management tools (Gradle, Maven and docker); Design patterns, multithreading, and web development such as velocity and javascripts; SAML and OAUTH2 system security in new features development; and SFTP, FTP, Linux servers.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary for this role is between $135,699 - $155,003 per year. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
