Software Engineer
Duty:
Develop computer software for laboratory information Management System (“LIMS’) that allows bioscience labs to effectively manage DNA or RNA samples and associated data; Develops and implements custom LIMS solutions for multiple laboratories within the company, including bioscience data migration, system configuration, and user training.
Be involved in quality control and improvement of computer software for laboratory information Management System(“LIMS”); Perform quality control of LIMS solutions based on the internal users’ feedback. The beneficiary also improves LIMS solutions when the internal users request additional features in LIMS.
Develop and manage the computer software for the company’s genomic sequencing ordering web site (https://order.psomagen.com) that provides online offer and receives order of various genomic sequencing services, such as whole genome sequencing, bacterial genome sequencing, targeted gene sequencing, etc.
Design and develop a data transfer pipeline that automatically analyzes DNA test results and sends out the findings. This system processes raw data files automatically, performs analysis, and ensures the quality of the results before they are delivered to the final customers.
Minimum Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences and 3 months of post graduate experience as a software engineer
