Software Engineer Job

Extendrum Technologies, LLC located in Portland, OR seeks a Software Engineer

• Work on different modules for ACS, AShip and ASM products using .NET framework. This framework uses MVC, Value Objects and DAOs, Business Facade and Isolates the web and
the application tiers.
• Work with different customers to analyze and define various business requirements.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code that meets quality, style, and testing requirements.
• Streamline the design and development process to allow quick development of various modules and User Interfaces using reusable components.
• Identify technological limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods by performing research, analysis and evaluation of existing
systems and processes.
• Develop new features using high-level programming languages, various programming techniques and software development engineering practices.
• Recommend various Software platform stacks based on new technologies to improve products.
• Work with the cross functional teams to execute projects and practice new initiatives.
• Use best practices for software development life cycle phases like design, code, test and deploy for various products.
• Help and train billing group users to use new change request and project tracker web.Customize TFS for version control, QSR, Issue and bug tracking based on project needs.
• Work on implementation of web service technology including SOA and SOR.
• Develop utilities to use across the products for their debug ability, testability and maintainability.
• Create an impact analysis report to identify the changes that would affect the application.
• Design and develop on-line reports for business units using OLAP.
• Install and configure product on cloud or on-premises servers and provide training.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the
software development lifecycle.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplish engineering and organizational mission by completing related trainings and courses as needed.
- Work closely with product managers and business owners to enhance and improve various products.
• Work with team lead to complete small or large-scaled needs for customer’s base on pre-determined specifications, system requirements and security requirements.
- Work on the Software Development Life Cycle using C, C++, Visual Basic, C#, .Net technologies (VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Database
Configuration (SQL, Oracle), Scrum Methodology.

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent with 60 months of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Experience must include: C, C++, Visual Basic, C#, .Net technologies (VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Database Configuration (SQL, Oracle), Scrum Methodology. Must have experience in the software development life cycle phases.
