Software Engineer Job

Software Engineer is needed to perform the following duties :

• Develop an Enterprise level Java platform, building high performance java applications, services leveraging spring boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
a. Developing data ingestion framework on Google cloud platform and using various services provided in GCP.
b. The application uses Spring Boot application that is built using Maven.
c. Deploying the application on GCP server in the dev/SIT/UAT/Prod environments.
d. Consuming JSON based payload and processing via microservices and storing into Snowflake.

• Program coding and maintaining program code to meet project requirements, designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of the deliverables to the client.
a. Work on fixing the bugs and defects of the application
b. Dive deep in the code to debug the problems and fixing the code
c. These issues (bugs) are tracked using the issue tracking tools which is JIRA

• Writing unit test cases and testable code
• Write Junit test cases using Mockito framework
• Write these test cases for all the architectural layers of the application
• Run code coverage reports with target > 80%
• Perform test Driven Development with Good Code Coverage with unit tests.
• Project Governance:
• Code Reviews, Code Quality Analytics, Documentation, Unit Test Coverage Inspections, Software Factory Management, Code Check-ins, Change Management & Deployments.

Coordinate with client with the Offshore Team.
• Manage and co-ordinate of the partner and working groups engaged in the project team and Co-ordinate with client and the Offshore Team.
• Evaluating project needs by researching, consulting and analyzing the existing projects.
• Define requirements for design, develop, integrate and implementation of the project.
• Understand business requirements and provide advice on strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery to the client.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems or Computer Science and Engineering
