Software Development Engineer in Test Job

What You’ll be Doing:
• Maintain product quality by enforcing QA policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement a QA automation roadmap.
• Design and develop automation tests using BDD with Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and RestAssured for comprehensive test coverage.
• Work with the development team to create and maintain an automated build and test process.
• Review frontend (React), backend (PHP), and automation code (Java) for quality assurance.
• Practice the 3-amigos approach to clarify business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct UI testing with Selenium WebDriver and API testing with JMeter and Postman.
• Perform performance, load, and stress testing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues by reproducing them in a non-production environment.
• Optimize SQL scripts for performance and use AWS CloudWatch to monitor and debug online incidents.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and SOPs.
• Implement and manage SOPs for QA processes, including coding standards and test case management.
• Provide system tutorials and database structure overviews during the onboarding process for new team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience programming in Java, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience or knowledge in UI testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience or knowledge in API testing with tools such as JMeter and Postman.
• Experience or knowledge with Test Case Management Systems.
• Experience or knowledge in conducting Performance, Load, and Stress Testing.
• Experience with code review and collaboration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
