Software Development Engineer II Job

Utilizing CAN Message authentication using Infineon AURIX micro with Hardware Security Modules; Implementing code; Assisting the Software Development Group Leader in design and development; Working with production to achieve safe launches of programs and maintain existing ones; Writing and modifying software documentation; Fixing problems in code during the development and maintenance phases and modifying corresponding documentation; Creating unit test cases; Executing unit tests and logs the defects; Updating the status of problems in the problem tracking system; Coordinating with laboratory personnel on the testing of prototype; and Working on cost-saving ideas for existing products.

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related and 3 years experience in the job offered or in electrical engineering.
Alternative Requirements: Employer also accepts Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related and 1 year experience in the job offered or in electrical engineering.
Required Special Skills: Experience with UART, LIN, MISRA, contributing to the software design of microcontroller embedded systems, and CAN.
Travel/Worksite: Must live in Illinois. 2 Mandatory in-office days/week, 3 days work- from-home/week. Worksite location: 3709 Ohio Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174.
