Position Detail
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Rate: $48.50
Weekly Hours: 35 to 40
Work Location: Richmond, BC

Duties and Responsibilities
-Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks such as React.js.
-Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, or Python.
-Integrate front-end interfaces with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
-Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
-Optimize applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
-Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
-Implement secure coding practices and perform regular code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
-Participate in development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
-Manage version control using Git and coordinate code deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
-Contribute to the planning and execution of software architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
-3 years of related experience highly preferred
-Experience with full-stack development using JavaScript and PHP is preferred
-Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
-Familiarity with backend frameworks like Laravel, Express.js, or Django is a bonus
-Knowledge of cloud services including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure is preferred
