Analyzing the existing application architecture and creating design documents. Completing the code development using Java. Supporting the production move activities and attending production move/support calls. Creating the project design document and presenting to the team. Estimating the Development Task and level of effort. Implementing the product features and testing the code. Enhancing and maintaining applications using Java. Testing the APIs and checking the response and comparing it with existing services. Writing Integration test cases, running the test cases and checking the application’s robustness and integration behavior. Fixing the application defects and track them. Preparing architecture, designing documents, LOE’s, and implementing features based on product requirements. Identifying the APIs, separating and moving the code to Micro Services. Coordinating with testing team to communicate the issues and fixing and testing steps. Closing the completed defects and moving it ready for deployment. Participating in daily Scrum calls and providing the status of the assignment and discussing any bottlenecks.

Writing Unit test cases, integration test cases and checking the application, consistently monitoring the application’s health and robustness. Working closely with business in gathering the requirements and confirmation of the solution given upon development. Log monitoring and alert monitoring for all the production modules. Involved in enhancements and maintenance/upgrade of the system. Use of Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, REST, SOAP & ANT. Travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. may be required to work at end-client locations, at least once or twice a year based on client’s needs. Must be willing to relocate and work anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum requirements

Education: Must possess Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Experience: 12 months’ experience in the position offered or a related position.
Special skills:
Aforementioned 12 months must include the following:
Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, REST, SOAP & ANT.
