Software Analysts Job

XIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking Software Analysts to: Define and implement project-level testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability for enterprise financial and wealth management applications; Develop and maintain test plans that outline testing scope, approach, timelines, tools, risks, and testing methodologies; Analyze business and functional requirements to design detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data; Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams to define high-level testing scenarios and acceptance criteria; Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI and API testing; Perform automated and manual testing to validate system functionality, performance, and integration points; Conduct API testing and backend validation to ensure application functionality and data accuracy using Playwright and Selenium; Validate data integrity through database queries and testing procedures; Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; Execute testing activities within cloud environments including AWS and Microsoft Azure; Manage the defect lifecycle including defect identification, defect logging, defect triage coordination, and defect resolution validation; Conduct regression testing to ensure that application changes do not negatively impact existing functionality; Provide quality assurance approval for application releases after verifying testing completion and defect resolution; Lead and coordinate activities of quality assurance engineers and testing teams; Prepare test reports and quality metrics to communicate testing progress and results to project stakeholders; Maintain testing documentation including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and test reports; and Evaluate and implement modern testing tools and automation practices to improve software quality and testing efficiency.

Requires Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. three years of experience in the role offered or in software quality assurance. Requires experience working with FinTech clients and experience with Selenium, AWS, Rest Assured, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and Jira. 100% telecommuting permitted.
