Social Worker/MSW Job

The LMSW Social Worker provides services to patients and families coping with acute or chronic medical conditions. The Social Worker provides ongoing supportive counseling aimed at maintaining the functional behavior of families. The social worker assesses families for needed assistance with resource procurement to support the family's effort in caring for their child in either the ambulatory or inpatient care setting.

Qualifications:

• MSW or MSSW from an accredited school
• Current Texas License for LMSW is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Health Care Providers is required within 30 days of employment
