Job Description:
Columbia County Health & Human Services is recruiting for a Social Worker in the Division of Behavioral Health and Long Term Support. This position involves performing duties and essential tasks for participants of the Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS) program which include but are not limited to assessing program eligibility, provide case management for assigned cases, connect families with resources, assist with making community referrals, participate in team meetings and maintain agency records. Additional tasks include facilitating and participating in development, review, and evaluation of plans of care. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited Social Work Degree Program. Must be certified/licensed under Wis. Stats. §457 or eligible to obtain social work certification/licensure within one year of hire and maintain licensure throughout employment; you must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Service program. Requires possession of valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and personal transportation. There is a potential for advanced practice social workers to obtain supervision hours. Starting wage: $31.755 per hour, for certified Social Workers and $29.819 per hour for Case Workers, until certification obtained. Application deadline is February 9, 2026.
