• Creates the development of near-term and long-term company business strategy in the art production area
• Possesses knowledge of LATAM art market and art community for plans to expand (i.e. Zona Maco Art Fair)
• Tracks competitive trends in the art market, including in Europe and LATAM
• Increases clients’ awareness through the effective use of social media outlets and ad campaign management
• Manages social media assets and resources of clients’ digital platforms, ad campaigns and designated budgets
• Applies knowledge of communications, advertising, and arts to create effective social media and marketing material across all digital platforms
• Uses social media marketing tools and ad campaign management to maintain the company as a top media agency in planning, buying, and sales
• Develops social media strategies and ad campaigns to cultivate followings for new and actual clients positioning
• Interacts with current and potential clients, as well as other stakeholders on day-to-day activities
• Analyzes clients’ digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifies strategic weaknesses and makes recommendations for improvements
• Researches social media trends and informs agency’s clients of changes that are relevant to their profile, digital activities and performance
• Sets KPIs for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of engagements, impressions, awareness, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Prepares monthly reports regarding social media platforms and ad campaigns performance and results
• Stays current with art market trends to understand competitive landscape visuals
• Collaborates with the company’s team to identify growth initiatives and opportunities that can drive incremental profitability
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the art market, communications, social media, advertising, marketing, competitive analysis, business development, strategic planning.
• Minimum Master’s in Art Business and Contemporary Art.
• Strong skills in analytics/digital platforms. Solid understanding of social media functionality is a must and candidate is expected to regularly post text, video and images that engage with
the clients’ target market
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to align content with customer trends and art market changes to interest and engage people.
• Expertise in visual arts/content creation, copyrighting, and presentation creation. In depth know-how in using social media platforms and skills in using tools that analyze social media
platforms.
• Experience in using digital technologies to meet the goals of social media campaigns (i.e. Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite)
• Knowledge of the art industry field internationally, including LATAM and Europe
• Time-management skills of organizing tasks to meet deadlines of marketing and business goals (i.e. calendar content delivery, analytics reports, etc.)
• Highly developed problem-solving skills and sound decision-making combined with analytical experience is required; ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement process
improvements
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities successfully; proven ability to manage improvement projects from concept to deployment
• Professional working proficiency of English and Spanish; any other European language skills a plus
