Small Business Consultant Manager (Remote – Washington State)

Job Summary

RCG seeks a Small Business Consultant Manager to lead programs supporting small businesses in partnership with the Office of Economic Development. This remote role requires regular travel across Washington State to engage stakeholders, provide technical assistance, and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate has experience in small business consulting, finance/accounting, and government regulations, with strong multilingual communication, advanced presentation skills, and proficiency in presentation software.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Business Support:
• Develop and manage statewide small business programs.
• Provide technical assistance in finance, operations, and compliance.
• Conduct business assessments and host two monthly seminars for entrepreneurs.
Outreach & Business Development:
• Attend five networking events per week to expand outreach.
• Build partnerships with municipalities, nonprofits, and counties.
• Convert 10% of leads into private clients and expand diverse community engagement.
Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure program compliance and maintain CRM records.
• Submit bi-monthly reports and weekly progress updates.
Company Engagement:
• Attend all client meetings and bi-annual leadership meetings in Medellín, Colombia.
• Strengthen RCG’s social media presence

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
•3+ years in small business consulting, program management, and government coordination.
•Project Management & Leadership expertise.
•Multilingual proficiency (English & Spanish required, third language preferred).
• Advanced presentation and communication skills, including proficiency in presentation software.
•Ability to travel frequently across Washington State.
