Position Info:
• Position: Dental Laboratory Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $30.00 - $32.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 205-14888 104th Avenue, Surrey, BC V3R 1M4

Benefits:

Job Duties:
• Prepare plaster models and moulds using dental impressions
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
• Pour and shape gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
• Fill moulds with plastic material to create full or partial dentures
• Shape wax over denture setup to create natural gum contours
• Craft orthodontic bands from various metals such as gold, silver, or stainless steel
• Finalize metal framework of dentures, and polish and buff them to achieve a natural finish

Job requirements:
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
