Duties:
• Read & interpret work orders, drawings and layout specifications to understand where and how signs should be installed.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for sign installations.
• Prepare surfaces and materials for installation, including measuring, cutting, and assembling sign components.
• Use hand and power tools safely to install, fix, and maintain signs.
• Perform basic electrical connections for illuminated signs.
• Install and repair indoor and outdoor signage, including vinyl graphics, banners, illuminated signs, vehicle wraps, channel letters, wall signs, window graphics, and post-mounted signs.
• Make sure signs are level, secure, and safe.
• Use bucket trucks, lifts, and ladders safely and follow all workplace safety standards.
• Repair damaged parts and carry out basic maintenance on installed signs as needed
• Load, transport, and secure signage materials
• Operate and maintain large-format printers, including basic equipment upkeep.
• Prepare print files using RIP software and check print quality and color.
• Laminate, trim, mount, and finish printed materials.
Requirements:
• Ability to work at heights
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs
