We are currently seeking a Sign Installer Supervisor (NOC 72014) to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate workers engaged in the installation of commercial and retail signage, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a Sign Installer Supervisor responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation of commercial building signs, retail signage, outdoor signs, indoor signs, display signs, banners, and related signage products. The successful candidate will oversee installation crews, ensure compliance with safety requirements, coordinate project schedules, and operate lifts and other equipment as required.
Job Description:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of commercial and retail sign installers engaged in the installation, repair, and servicing of building signs, storefront signs, channel letters, pylon signs, banners, wayfinding signs, and other signage products
• Review work orders, drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications to determine project requirements and assign work to installation crews
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary measures
• Coordinate installation schedules, site access, equipment requirements, and manpower to ensure projects are completed on time and according to customer specifications
• Inspect ongoing and completed sign installation projects to ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and client expectations
• Train workers in sign installation techniques, safe work practices, fall protection procedures, and the operation of lifts, scaffolding, and related equipment
• Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity, installation quality, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate the requisition and delivery of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies required for installation projects
• Prepare work reports, maintain installation records, and communicate project progress to management
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in sign installation activities as required, including the installation, repair, and servicing of interior and exterior commercial and retail signage

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial and retail sign installation, including at least 1 year of experience leading, coordinating, or supervising installation crews
• Ability to operate lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment used in sign installation projects
• Completion of Secondary School
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and installation procedures
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Salary: $37.50 per hour
