Position: Siding Installer
Job Type: Full time; Permanent
Salary: $36.80 per hour
Number of Positions: 2
Expected start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts with its clients

Job duties:

• Read blueprints, or work order specifications.
• Determine layout, and installation procedures.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to the required shapes when fitting siding around the windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in the similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
